What is the ECO4 Scheme?
The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) Scheme, which is in its fourth iteration – ECO4, is a government initiative aimed at promoting energy efficiency in homes across the country, thereby reducing utility bills. ECO4 focuses on providing funding for energy-efficient measures and improvements for properties which help in lowering the overall energy consumption to heat the property and to improve the heat retention inside the property. Which in the end contributes to decrease in gas and electricity consumption.
